This course is an integral part of being in an effective management position; leading the business to success both in organisation and reputation. You will learn to utilize all of the skills and systems around you to provide development both on a personal level and for the business to continue succeeding.

What will you learn
  • BIIAB Level 3 Diploma in Management

    This course is available only to employees who are in a Management role which provides opportunities for gathering appropriate evidence to match against the outcomes. You will undertake an initial assessment to determine the appropriate QCF level and optional units. This advanced course gives new and more experienced managers the skills to carry out defined management activities including performance management, people development and operational planning. It also develops the learners understanding of the importance of management and the principles of business.

  • Highfield Functional Skills Qualification in English at Level 1

    This qualification is designed for learners who wish to develop their skills in English to help them gain the most from work, education and everyday life.

  • Highfield Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics at Level 1

    This qualification is designed for learners who wish to develop their skills in mathematics to help from work, education and everyday life.

  • Highfield Functional Skills Qualification in ICT at Level 1

    This qualification is designed for learners who wish to develop their skills in ICT to help from work, education and everyday life.


Duration: 18 Months

Course Units

The aim of this unit is to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills to manage your own personal and professional development. You will learn how to evaluate your current and future development needs and identify how they can be met. You will also learn how to obtain feedback on your performance and review your progress to make amendments to your development plan in the light of feedback.
The aim of this unit is to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills to manage team performance. You will learn how to identify the strengths and expertise of your team and allocate the work effectively. You will learn how to support your team members and provide feedback on the effectiveness of team communication and make improvements.
This unit provides an understanding of principles which underpin leadership and management. It provides the underpinning knowledge needed for first level line managers to understand their role and become effective in managing their team.
