Business Administration Apprenticeship

JPR Group are looking for a Level 3 Admin Apprentice to support office- based activities within our organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to experience a varied range of administration activities, supporting with Business Administration and Customer Service duties.

Job Role – key Duties include:

Working within the office and supporting all functions of JPR,
Answering the business landline, Taking messages and printing of job packs,

Other basic administration tasks Day to day admin tasks to support the daily running of the office Answering calls and directing to the relevant staff Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email Reviewing accuracy of supplier paperwork Supporting the maintenance of our quality system

To carry out any other duties and responsibilities within his/her capabilities as reasonably directed by the line manager.

This apprenticeship standard is an ideal programme for those wishing to engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers.

With a focus on adding value, the role of business administrator will contribute to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested.

This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of planned learning sessions, workplace visits, on and off the job training and 1 to 1 support. It covers areas such as:

Understanding laws and regulations that apply to their role including data protection, health & safety, compliance etc.

supporting the company in applying the regulations Knowledge on how to review processes autonomously and make suggestions for improvements.

Applying a solutions-based approach to improve business processes and helping define procedures.

Development of people management responsibilities through mentoring and coaching others.

Positively managing the expectations of colleagues at all levels and sets a positive example for others in the workplace Exercising proactivity and good judgement, making effective decisions based on sound reasoning and dealing with challenges in a mature way.

Skills Required: IT skills, attention to detail, able to follow instructions, work in a team, good mathematical skills along with good communication skills.

Personal Qualities Required: Good listener, timekeeping, respect in the workplace, good communication skills, reliable, trustworthy and a willingness to learn with a genuine interest in marketing.
