Key Responsibilities • Assist with the development and maintenance of the Health and Safety standards in accordance with UK Health and Safety legislation and the Stellantis workplace safety system. • Support the site operations leadership, developing and educating the key functions at the site on the Workplace Safety System and Group Care Management systems implementation. • Assist with investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to assist recording the findings on the relevant forms. • Support with the Machinery Safety Buy Off in the relevant departments • Assisting with the coaching the site employees and contractors in good Health and Safety practices • Undertaking site inspections (SOT’s) after training • Assist with writing internal health and safety procedures • Assist the Coordination of the Health Surveillance/Monitoring process on site with external provider(s) • Assist with Air/Noise sampling process on site. • Asbestos & Legionella processes and databases: maintain/respond to issues • Review RAMS (Risk Assessment/Method Statement) in relevant departments as requested for High Risk tasks • COSHH Data (manage the list of approved products, Assist with chemical Inventory on site via CHEMA) • Perform training:, Safety Induction for new starters, plus any relevant trainings after sufficient coaching • Assist with completion of monthly accident/hourly report internally & externally
Required Knowledge and Skills o Passion for protecting people. o Good baseline knowledge of H&S/Wellbeing matters. Ability to prioritise quickly o Ability to work under pressure o The ability to Influence without authority
Required experience: o Some experience of working in teams o Interaction with diverse groups i.e. within a customer facing role.
Technical Skills and Personal characteristics: o Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively converse with a wide range of people in factory environment o Experience of working with a team o Communicating effectively. o Innovative and willing to embrace technology and apply this to H&S matters o Planning & Organising
