Description

This course will provide you with the opportunity to gain the necessary and obtain a QCF Level 3 qualification. You will negotiate with your assessor to produce a portfolio containing evidence of practical and theorectical work.

What will you learn
  • Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Warehouse and Storage

    This course is aimed at staff working in a warehouse environment. Working in a warehouse is a physical job and involves working in a team. As a warehouse operative, you would deal with goods and products that come into the warehouse and the stock room. Learners must complete an initial assessment identifying prior learning and experience in order to ensure this apprenticeship is the correct pathway.

  • Highfield Functional Skills Qualification in English at Level 1

    This qualification is designed for learners who wish to develop their skills in English to help them gain the most from work, education and everyday life.

  • Highfield Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics at Level 1

    This qualification is designed for learners who wish to develop their skills in mathematics to help from work, education and everyday life.


Duration: 24 Months

Course Units

This standard is about creating and maintaining customer satisfaction and developing relationships through effective communication. It includes understanding business and customer confidentiality, the organisation’s image and the limits of own authority when dealing with customers.
This unit is about providing leadership for your team. It deals with planning teams’ objectives, motivating team members, communication and steering the team through difficulties.
This unit is relevant for team leaders, supervisors and managers working in logistics operations. Team leaders, supervisors and managers could, for example, be working in warehousing and storage, transport or freight forwarding.
This unit is about supervising the areas and processes for receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. It deals with ensuring the correct equipment is used, that areas are safe and appropriate for the receipt of goods, and that information in relation to monitoring the receipt, storage or dispatch of goods is communicated.
This unit is aimed at operatives in logistics operations. Operatives could, for example, be working in warehousing and storage, transport or freight forwarding.
This unit is aimed at people working within the logistics environment.

•the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
